@Chris Peak and I had a brief conversation regarding Whipple. Chris' comments are for him to share or keep, and I will not divulge anything he sent me in confidence. However, I sent this exact message to him last week, on the 9th to be exact. When you read it, it is staggering that Pickett staying in a way would somehow play a role in keeping Whipple.
" I was told that Whipple staying was predicated somewhat on Kenny Pickett, and somewhat on the potential list of replacements HCPN would target. Centered around loss of revenue for the program - and they weren't shelling out a ton of money on the next OC hire "
