Whipple needs to bring in a grad transfer QB next year

I'd RS Pickett, knowing he has 4 games to play if we need him due to an injury. If I were Whipple and Narduzzi, I'd go out and try to get one of the top grad transfer QB's and guarantee him the starting position explaining that Pickett will be redshirting.

If Ford and Twyman come back, the D may be even better. I realize that QB is not the only problem on offense but an above average QB makes up for a lot of lack of talent at other positions. I'm sure there's plenty of blue blood benchwarmers looking to get out.

No argument with the premise, but you’re always talking about redshirting guys that already have multiple years under their belts like this is some video game. That just ain’t happening in this day and age, none of these players will put up with that crap.

There’s really no sense in mentioning it because it’s never going to happen.

Well a grad transfer could throw sideways passes as well as anybody, I guess.
