I swear they do this on purpose. They know 99.9% of the fan base hate these , so what do they do ? Wear them of course.

Its just another example of how Pitt doesn't care about their fan base at all.
Maybe they realize the season is looking bleak, so don't want to associate this particular team with any of our upcoming unhideous looks planned for future years.
If this season goes 1-11 do you really want Pitt to have worn GOOD looking uniforms in any of the games? It was one of the few silver linings of last week that they didn't go with the throwbacks.

I've read that they supposedly have to wear a bunch of different combos per the Nike contract. The players (seniors) supposedly choose but only within those constraints. GT is a dog of a game so I guess they chose the crappiest combo? Seriously though. White pants are just stupid. We look like a team that accidentally packed their practice pants instead of their game pants.
Meh, i don't like em, but if the kids are picking them, then I really have no issue, let em have a little fun...
