His dad is all about the Nits. Awfully similar to Sanders mom. Different situation than the Whitehead's.

Say what u want about terry smith but the guy can recruit period. I wanted PITT to bring him in in some type of role just because of his recruiting ability. He has went into PITT pipeline high schools Woodland Hills and clairton and got big time recruits. At least that's what it looks like with wade to Psu.

Each family is different. Coaches know this. Sometimes it's the kid you have to recruit. Sometimes it's the father. Sometimes it's the mother. Sometimes there is not father.

In wade's case, coaches have had to recruit both the son and the father. It doesn't matter if anyone on these boards agree or disagree with it. Coaches have to deal with reality.

I agree about Terry Smith. He recruited well at Gateway and is doing the same at Penn State.

WVU also has a very strong recruiter in Tony Gibson and has quietly put together some strong classes without any kind of recruiting base.

Narduzzi really needs an ace recruiter. Salem is a pretty good recruiter so if he gets the OC job, Pitt really needs to go out and hire away some big-time recruiting position coach.

Smith recruited well going back to his Gateway days. He did not play by the rules back then, so why would he be any different today?
