I'll give you that you probably cant play him regularly on O this season since he doesnt know the playbook but I'm being dead honest when I say he needs to start both ways next year. Safety and WR. Give him a series off here and there on O or D but the kid is just too good and we need that talent on O especially if Boyd and Conner leave.

I know everyone will say this is impossible and cannot be done and its not fair to him but he's a special player and why not think outside the box a little. Lets see if he can do it before ruling it out. Can you imagine the pub he would get for being a true 2 way starter.

If we brought in more depth of his caliber, then this would be unnecessary. Tough to play both ways. Those 4-5 stars depth on the ND two deep were on display today.

The only issue that I have with Whitehead is I am not sure if he is better offensively or defensively. He is so good on both sides of the ball. His future at the next level is most likely defense but he can be an unreal offensive player at this level.

Nothing against Challingsworth, Zeise, Weah, Henderson, Tipton, etc, but Whitehead is clearly a level above those guys. Ford has come on and will be a starter next year but unless we bring in somebody better than JW next year at WR, I just cant see how you cant start him. Give him a series or 2 off on O and D each half. I'm sure he's in shape to play all night.

He looked good with the ball in hands. Instinctive. He looked quicker and more explosive than Boyd does running with the football. Hopefully the coaches work on getting him involved in the vertical passing game. I'd like to see what he can do with the ball in some space.

Can JayPa coach wide receivers?

Frankly I didn't see whitehead make a catch. I think he looked great at RB though

Oh I don't think he should be either. I think the way they used him today is perfect
