Hi all.
Recently, Dixon (it appears) tends to increasingly "run" (or "control") the team, both off the court and on the court. On prior teams, player leaders (it appears) were very much engaged in the team on the court - and seemed to much more engaged off the court ("our practices are tougher than games", engagement with media, etc.). Over the last few years, (it appears, to me) that the team has been devoid of players who spoke out during the game, during time outs, to the media except in controlled situations (post-game), etc.
I think a player leadership brings in recruits as much as the coaching staff.
That being said, who are the player leaders? Who is (or are) the "team captain(s)". Which player will be the player that recruits the recruits?
