Who was it that said Oklahoma was a weak Sweet 16 team?

Huh? They lost to a 7 seed that can't shoot FT's.....

Blew a lead and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn when it counted. Good Bye Big 12............................................

Re: Huh? They lost to a 7 seed that can't shoot FT's.....

MSU's a 7 seed-great argument. Just ask Tony Bennett.

How'd the FT shooting go in the last 60 seconds, when the two guys handling the ball the entire time for MSU are 80% shooters?

Oklahoma was tough. And they played excellent defense for most of the game, blocked out on rebounds, went head first after every loose ball. They would have beaten most of the teams in the Seeet 16 the way they played last night.

If you don't think that team earned it's way to the Sweet 16, you're clueless.

They lost, no more big 12 teams in the final 8. But ESPN and clowns said that was the best conference, blah blah and blah. NM

I don't have any opinion on the conference, but that OU team is good, and Lon Kruger is a damned good coach.

So let me get this straight...you constantly bash Dixon, but Lon Kruger is a "damned good coach?"

Re: Huh? They lost to a 7 seed that can't shoot FT's.....

I don't ever "bash" Dixon, and I've always said he's a dammed good coach-he is. I have NEVER suggested that he be replaced and have always argued against those who have. He's also not beyond criticism as the past 4 years have demonstrated. So get your facts straiight before you shoot off your mouth.

Kruger is also a damned good coach, and his resume is similar to Dixon's, with one notable difference -Kruger has been to the Final Four.

If Kruger wasn't a good coach, his team wouldn't have been in the Sweet 16 giving Izzo's team all it could handle to the very end, holding them 10 points below their scoring average, out rebounding them and holding them way below their FG%.

Agreed. So what?

What does that have to do with the quality of thiis Oklahoma team? Seriously-do you actually think they didn't prove that they were Sweet 16 worthy?

All I'm trying to say is, that team is tough-and they proved it last night even in losing.

Some of you guys take your hatred of all things WVU related a bit too far. You wouldn't have an opinion one way or the other on the B12 if the hoopies weren't in that league.

Not so sure the hoopies are the main problem. It would be nice if a few of the 'experts', that were touting the B12 as the best conference in the country this year, would admit their obvious mistake. I'm not saying the B12 was a bad conference this year, but saying it was 'the best' just wasn't very accurate.

When Pitt loses to an 8 seed in Butler, that is a huge upset even though they were possibly underseeded. When Oklahoma loses, it is excusable because their opponent is not seeded right. Can we just have an ounce of consistency please?

I don't disagree with you. I didnt get the media love for the B12 all season either. I thought Baylor was the biggest fraud of all of 'em, and they made me look good on that one.

DOn't really get it...badby would be KILLING Dixon if he was a 3 seed and lost to a 7. Here though he calls Kruger a good coach.
