It's navy. Just appears that why with the matte paint. Honestly, looks pretty sweet.

they call that midnight blue.. If you stand 6" from it, you can tell it's not black.. they are sweet though, I'd like the all blue with those helmets..

Matte looks different than gloss or metallic which looks different than matte which is not the same as gloss or chrome or shiny....there I think that covers it....it's blue
