Why doesn't Pitt do something like this?

I don't understand your last sentence, 79. Of course you can say whatever you'd like to say.

Some people complain if you admit that you don't go to every game and tell you you don't have the right to speak, because you aren't there every time.

It would create demand for tickets, which would encourage a more rabid type of fan.

To be honest, I like holding the upper hand over sports teams, I wish the Steelers averaged 40,000 and you could decide on game day or even the week before if you wanted to go or not and you could still get face value tickets. I like the fact that it's no problem to get any Pitt ticket I want, 90% of the time. The exceptions being for PSU, ND and WVU... But I've seen all those teams multiple times anyways.

I do a lot of my Christmas shopping the last home game of the season. Sometimes there are great deals. Family gets Pitt gear whether they like it or not! Since my son is now my size, I hope he doesn't like what I get him!!

Go to the game. Screw Optics. At least come saturday or are busy shopping ?

The actual attendance was about 25K but without looking I'm sure they announced in the high 30's.

They announced 35,000-something. Which is silly, unless you are one of those people that thinks that upwards of 40% of the fans at the game aren't in their seats all game long.
