I have read both sides of the Jamie must go/Jamie is God arguments. Both sides have made compelling arguments. I will not go over them, I'm sure most are familiar with them.
The reason that I am willing to give JD a chance to right the ship at this point is loyalty. Jamie had an opportunity to go back (home) to the West Coast numerous times and didn't. I remember the panic anytime a major job opened up on the west coast. I know people will say that we paid him well to stay and they will be correct. However, I'm guessing that there were some big dollars being offered to lure him away too. He was one of the hottest young coaches in the game at the time.
It may be "old fashioned" and no way to run a big business, but right or wrong, loyalty means something to me.
