The gap between Pitt and TCU is much larger than Pitt and Arizona. I fail to see why some people see it to be so unreasonable that a famous alum would want to come home.......for a lot of money when we may lose a coach for the exact same scenario.

Because Miller, and his family, burned bridges with many of the top Pitt donors. The gap between Pitt and TCU is much larger than Pitt and Arizona. Pretty much, yeah. Don't forget the WAY he left and the WHEN. Also, his daddy worked overtime to flat out hurt Pitt afterwards. So, he wont come to town because a couple millionaires are still mad he saw the sinking ship and skipped town on Willard 20 years ago? Really, that's the reason?
No.... it is because of the shit his dad pulled. So, he wont come to town because a couple millionaires are still mad he saw the sinking ship and skipped town on Willard 20 years ago? Really, that's the reason?
Simple. Jamie may feel as though he's plateaued here. He's been here 13 years, and he may feel as though he's gotten stale. Miller has been at Zona half as long, and he's knows you can win the whole thing there, because it's been done. If Miller had been at Zona 11-12 years, and the fans were getting very restless, I could see him making the move. Jamie wouldn't have looked at going to TCU 6-7 years ago.The gap between Pitt and TCU is much larger than Pitt and Arizona. I totally agree. I don't think Miller to Pitt would be ridiculous at all. Just one problem... I don't think Sean Miller would personally want to come back here. If I'm wrong about that though, I don't see any other reason why it couldn't happen. Miller is probably feeling more heat in 'Zona than Dixon here. No Final Fours at Arizona is much more disappointing than at Pitt. The gap between Pitt and TCU is much larger than Pitt and Arizona. why would Pitt want Sean Miller? If he can't succeed at Arizona why would anyone think he could succeed at Pitt?
