The kids at most schools all have access to their spring ball practices. On top of that, these schools who are looking to poach players already know who they want.
Why wouldn't Pitt cancel the Spring Game?

This. This is the point everyone has missed in this thread. It’s not financial for Pitt and certainly not for some bigger schools. Coaches don’t want players exposed with the upcoming portal window. Duzz has dismissed the concern unlike other coaches.
Almost certainly. I’ve been to about 8 of the past 10. Only ones I’ve missed have been due to kids sports schedules. As of right now, my senior baseball player doesn’t have a game scheduled, so only way I’ll miss it is if we get a rain out earlier in the week and a reschedule. I’ll see you there.

Okay, no one cares. You go see it or you dont. Its a petty and stupid thing to be talking about on a Pitt message board. Some like going to it, some dont. But dont be on her yapping with your chest out, how Pitt shouldnt have it, because some like you dont go, and for the title of this discussion, because other schools arent.
It gets harder and harder to come on these boards, just to idiotic posts about how bad, poor (financially), non-competitive, poorly ran, etc Pitt is. For the better of everyone else, if some of you hate Pitt, wont contribute, think they suck or even move down to D3 or something stupid as that. Stay off the damn board and dont watch Pitt.
