And Oregon who is winningNo, it is over now.
I am as optimistic a fan as exists in Pitt land .... but the bids stolen by Temple/UAB, NCSU, New Mexico, and Duquesne/VCU are too much.
4 really good bubble teams will be out... and Pitt is one of them
Yep.And Oregon who is winning
somebody mentioned that 21 top seeds lost in their conference touneys and many early on.People love to exaggerate this, but this is really the strongest bubble I can remember
There is no longer any chance greater than maybe 0.5%.Count me a Pitt homer, but I believe they still sneak in as the WTH pick. I think this is where the human element will make up for whatever is missing is the resume with a healthy lowe, freshman guard, nba talent, end of season run narrative.
That's too high. There is no longer any chance greater than maybe 0.5%.
Absolutely not. And if you're thinking our NC State wins will be graded differently now, then you'd also have to regrade all the wins teams had over Oregon, etc.
If anything, this has me wondering if the ACC is as bad as some think. NC State winning five in a row is kind of nuts.
I am with Bilas on having 80 teams. All autobid winners no ranking system has in its top 64 should be in the tourney only as part of that differential between 64 and 80 teams.somebody mentioned that 21 top seeds lost in their conference touneys and many early on.
Bilas will be pushing for the 80 team expansion more than ever now.
Yeah … probably. Over the last 48 hours, basically not one thing that needed to go our way went our way. That's too high.
That's a NC State team we haven't seen this year. They played their ass off in the tournament. Their intensity and focus was off the charts.
We are the last team to beat NC State.Maybe. I mean they were down at halftime against Louisville. And Virginia not fouling at the end was worse than Cristobal not kneeling the ball.
That and a nickel…..People love to exaggerate this, but this is really the strongest bubble I can remember
We are the last team to beat NC State.
In 1985 we whipped Villanova in the last regular season game at the field house and Rollie benched all his starters and then they won it all. They found themselves in the second half against us. On one Saturday evening at the Pete, you watched the eventual national champions put it all together like Dr. Frankenstein.
Pissed off or disappointed. Tough to tell what the mindset will be.The four #1 seeds of the NIT are going to be some disappointed and pissed off teams.
Because all 4 would have come into today thinking they had a good chance to be in.
I think if they use BPI it can knock out 3 mountain west. Then hope that Oklahoma or Michigan State or Northwestern is also knocked out. It’s not over til it’s over. Hoping for a leak though prior.Very slim. I think our only chance is either Oklahoma or Colorado State were overvalued by “bracketologists” and we slide in to play Jamie Dixon led TCU in Dayton. Or Capel can go up against his former school Oklahoma.
Maybe. I mean they were down at halftime against Louisville. And Virginia not fouling at the end was worse than Cristobal not kneeling the ball.

Once again one of smfs most endearing traits referring to himself in the third person . Snap hook approvesSomeone has been saying that all year. SMF knows college basketball. This is the doing of the transfer portal. There's no bad teams anymore. No rebuilding. Good players gravitate towards playing time. Its college basketball socialism. Redistribution of talent every year.
Yeah … probably. Over the last 48 hours, basically not one thing that needed to go our way went our way.
