Wade is dirty so he is above Hafley. You really can't be dirty anymore since these are pros now but Wade will ensure NC State is one of the highest paid teams in the country. How the eff did he get those guys to McNeese? That's my point. He had an ACC payroll in the Southland. He'll have an SEC payroll in the ACC. He wins at all costs, literally.

Should he have a natty by now? He took LSU from nothing to the Top 25 and has a crappy mid-major commuter school in the Round of 32. He will have NC State in the NCAA Tournament and in the Sweet 16 within 3 years. He is elite. I posted this same exact paragraph about Nate Oats in 2017 or whenever that was.

If a school wants to go the Will Wade, Sean Miller, Bruce Pearl, Rick Pitino, Chris Beard route - coach messed up and got caught doing bad things but is now coming out of rehab mode, you can usually do that on the cheap, at least initially. And there's a damn good one under the radar to keep an eye on the next few years in Donnie Tyndall.
