who do you guys think will win their respective conference championship first Pitt or WVU. "Pitt"

Our recruiting currently , it won't happen anytime soon. Stars or no stars , we are still rated behind about 80% of those we play against, recruiting among power 5 as well

WVU probably has the better chance.
If you break down recruiting, they have 2 teams that recruit a tier above them. OU and Texas. Most every other team they play is either a few spots above them, few spots below them, but are all in the same tier.
We have 4 teams that are at least a tier above us: Miami, VT, Clemson, and FSU.
So WVU probably has the better chance, although I wouldn't be putting money on either team doing it anytime soon.

Reasonable answer. I’d say WVU similarly.

Duzz is a good man, above average game coach, below avg recruiter, doesn't have no spark to him. He will get kids kids looking for full college experience, those who want sales pitch, not your man, those are many kids . Those who talk to high school coaches know this to be true.

Uhhhh........Cool.

Love to hear how neither answers the poster’s question.

I don’t feel that either school has the resources or the recruiting area to compete with the big dogs in their respective conferences. Too many teams in better situations would have to be down at the same time for it to happen.

I'll play devil's advocate.

1. WVU has to play OU and Texas every year. The only teams we play on a regular basis is Miami and VT. I'd take my chances against the latter more often than the former.
2. WVU has to go up against nine other teams for a spot in the Big XII Championship. We only have to go up against six.
3. WVU would have to play against the best or second best team in the Big XII twice in one year. What are the odds you beat Oklahoma twice in the same year? There's a very slim chance that'd happen in the ACC.
4. The Coastal Division has had five different winners since we joined the conference. I like our situation where we can be compete for the Coastal Division and then have a one game playoff to decide who wins the conference. With our history against top-ranked teams, I'd like our chances :)

When Grier announced he was returning, I automatically thought that WVU could pull an upset and maybe win the Big12 regular season, at least. They aren't losing many players.
Their D sure does need to get better.

But seeing not just Grier returning but also David Sills... eh, who knows.
