Congrats to Wisky. Great game tonite despite a stretch in the second have where they got a string of questionable calls against them. They didn't fold and doubled down instead.

And did you ever see a coach more calm and composed on the sideline than Bo Ryan. Proves the point that coaches should shut up more and scream at their players [and the refs] less.

Seemed like Bo was screaming at the refs plenty, but I agree he doesn't confront his players like others, i.e. Huggins and Frank Martin.

There were a couple of poorly called plays when Bo went off. What I mean is he doesn't consistently scream and pace at the refs and his kids as much as our coach and a whole lot of others.

What are you talking about? Bo was losing his mind on a regular basis. I have to assume you were watching a different game?

Hmmmm......we'll have to disagree about Bo and the refs. And I'm not sure what you mean about Dixon screaming at his players? If you mean he is screaming instruction on the court, that's one thing, but for the most part I have only witnessed Dixon being respectful with his players on the bench and at time outs. I have never seen him scream or confront a player in an aggressive manner like Paul Evans. Maybe I'm wrong.

Watching Wisconsin should bring optimism to Pitt fans. Why? Because they showed that it's possible to beat elite athletes and some one-and-dones with a style similar to Pitt. (1) OLDER PLAYERS who have developed in the program (not a lot of highly recruited kids). (2) Solid MAN-MAN defense in the half court, not extending too far beyond the 3-point line thus clogging lanes. (3) REBOUNDING; great block outs. (4) TEMPO; refusing to get into a run and gun game with Kentucky.(5) SHOT SELECTION; the vast majority of their shots were good shots. Sound familiar? This was Pitt's blue-print too. Also, there's a lot of similarities between Bo and Jamie. I, for one will be rooting for Bo and his Badgers Monday night. Go Pitt!

Yeah, Jamie does get visibly frustrated, but so does every coach. I have never seen a coach that doesn't get upset about a certain play his team makes from Cal, Izzo, and Ryan all the way down to Andy Toole.

That said, I have NEVER seen Jamie berate a player like Boeheim has been known to do on the sidelines.
