Wisky VB goes down.

Wisconsin won the first 2 sets. PSU wins the next 3 sets.

Wisconsin is #2 in the RPI rankings, Pitt is #5.

Stanford is #4 and they beat Cal, 3-1 tonight.

Will the Panthers move up to #4 and Wisconsin fall to #5?

Pitt deserves it..going undeafeated in the acc should have been enough.shouldnt have really mattered if wisc lost or not.pitt lost one game this season to a team they stomped on their home court earlier that week.

I kinda think any "tie" so to speak would go to Pitt because of the great storylines of making the Final Four while staying at home the entire time.

Selection show this evening. The committee seems to weight the RPI very heavily which puts Pitt at a disadvantage compared to the Big Ten and Big Twelve. They alluded to Wisky, Baylor and Texas being far ahead of the other teams in the past. We will see if they view things differently now. Pitt has done everything it can to get a top 4 seed.

Pitt is currently 4th in unofficial RPI, which has been very accurate.

Well, either that or they could look at it like why should we potentially give one team six home games in a row when no one else has ever had an advantage like that. Especially since that team is clearly (in their minds) not one of the best two or three teams.

Fortunately, with that Wisconsin loss I don't think either of those two schools of thought are going to come into play. We get the four, Wisconsin gets the five.
