Jaland Lowe and Dior Johnson, will any team in the country, have a more talented trio of freshman guards next year.

Because he wasn’t always ranked 68th in the country? I know coaches don’t/shouldn’t pay attention to recruiting services, but it seems to me Jayland was under recruited early and was a late bloomer. I also know Memphis, who you mentioned as having a strong group of incoming guards, was pushing for him late, was set to host him for an official, until he committed here.No one finds it curious that Texas, Houston and A and M had zero interest in Jaland Lowe when he’s ranked 68th in the country?
Will Wade gonna get them rolling!!!
Specifically a trio of guards. I know the blue bloods will have 5 star guards. To answer your question, yes. Kentucky and Duke will absolutely have better freshmen guards. Baylor, Kansas, UConn, UCLA, Memphis also. USC, Indiana comparable
Dillingham, DJ Jr and Reed Sheppard is possibly the best freshmen backcourt in NCAA history and the 2 bigs are top 10. The talk of Cal’s demise is quite silly.
Will Wade was a manager at Clemson. He did not play. And they will not hire him.Wow, Wade would be awesome there. Huge Will Wade fan here.
If you are Clemson though and they dont make the tournament, isnt it time to go in a different direction and let Brownell go. Will Wade played at Clemson.
Dior won’t be a true freshmen and won’t likely be here so I used that as the basis instead of your criteria.Specifically a trio of guards. I know the blue bloods will have 5 star guards.

1. Western Kentucky hired Rick $tan$bury to cheat before it was legal. They have zero morals. Probably why they’re top 10 all time in CBB wins.Clemson's morals are higher than Western Kentucky's?
Jason Capel?1. Western Kentucky hired Rick $tan$bury to cheat before it was legal. They have zero morals. Probably why they’re top 10 all time in CBB wins.
2. Clemson is hiring an African American coach if they move on Brownell. A specific one as well. Been negotiating behind closed doors for a few weeks now.

LiL Jon.Who?
Wrong!Earl Grant
Would be a slam dunk for Clemson. He's done a great job at BC. I was thinking Grant could also leave for GT.
Pitino to BC makes all the sense in the world. Also hearing SJU, Gtown, and ND. ND would be interesting. Seems to be a good fit at Catholic schools.
Chet Mason's brother Frank Mason?Lol no.
Brandon Knight lolWrong!
Nah sitting head coach who has been an assistant at Clemson in the past. Turned around 2 jobsBrandon Knight lol
Oh you've mentioned him before.Nah sitting head coach who has been an assistant at Clemson in the past. Turned around 2 jobs

Kentucky for sure. 2 guards in the national top 10, the third top 30.I edited it to say guards.
Given his pre-Pitt track record and irrespective of his legal issues, agree that the odds are he never steps on the floor in a Pitt uniform.Dior won’t be a true freshmen and won’t likely be here so I used that as the basis instead of your criteria.
He kind of looks like ShakaShaka Smart? He was my guess and you kind of cemented it by mentioning being an assistant at Clemson.
I guess he only has turned around one school though.
No way! Marquette has 3rd highest budget in the country in a league he can win! Elite elite job!Shaka Smart? He was my guess and you kind of cemented it by mentioning being an assistant at Clemson.

You know Capt that your not supposed to be positive. Especially on our own Pitt message board. H2P!!!I’m excited at the prospect of having these three guards next year. I just wish Burton or Cummings was sticking around to anchor them. Though I’m sure they’ll find another quality transfer guard in the portal.

Johnson won't be here. I can't imagine a scenario where he is.
As for the other 2, they're not here yet and until they step on the floor in a Pitt uniform, they're irrelevant. I hear all the hype. But it's just noise because they aren't at Pitt and may not be. I never trust a kid's "commitment" until I see him on the floor at The Pete in a Pitt uniform. Besides, they'll be freshmen if they do show up. They usually don't contribute that much in their first year unless their name is Blair, Smith or Adams. To be honest, I'd rather Capel gets a couple of seasoned, mature guards in the portal that will fit with the team and add experience. Let the freshmen learn and get some experience.
After what happened at Louisville, ND would never, ever, ever, hire Rick Pitino. And nobody with any basketball credibility would ever suggest with a straight face that he's even a remote possibility for that job.Earl Grant
