Beat Clemson, 79-69. I believe that they are going to petition the ACC to allow them to play Clemson a few more times.

King and Strouther the leading scorers (I'm not sure anyone would have foreseen that) with 15 each. Everett had 13 but was only 3-15 from the field. King also had 8 rebounds.

The big difference in the game appears to have been turnovers. The usually turnover prone Panthers only had 9 of them. Clemson had 22.

I watched the men and the women at
the same time. As for the women, King
is a player. Both teams played raggedy
IMO. We have enough depth that I
think we wore them down.
We still have a long way to go and
have some talent at guard and on the
wings, but our bigs are severely
lacking IMO.
Hafford is enough to make any coach
pull his/her hair out. Very athletic but
often clueless when to pull up, dish,
or shoot. She dribbles full bore into
the lane and then stops on a dime
not knowing what to do with the ball.
The coach should be able to correct
that easily enough, but she continues
doing the same things over and over.
Anyway...good hustle, looks like good
attitudes, and they won. I shouldn't
be so critical.

Yikes, I did not realize that. I'm not sure how that happened, because Syracuse is pretty good and Clemson is, well, not.

I’ve noticed that Liatu King has a pretty mature game for a true freshman. She has a better offensive game than AB, but we need them both.

Destiny Strothers’ performance seemed to come out of nowhere. Encouraging.

Be nice if Jayla finds here shot again. And we need Day Harris to mature at a rapid rate. The parallels between the play of Day and X-Man are scary...
