Not a good game to watch. Neither
team played that well. I expected
Notre Dame to be better, they're
not.

Of course without Harris and then
Green we were really shorthanded.
Coach said he wasn't happy with
the effort. Personally I thought it
was more a case of inexperience
and playing a lot of players.
We had too many TO's again, 18.
ND had 17, they're not the ND of
other years.
Speaking of TO's, Everett had 8.
Her problem IMO is trying to throw
the impossible pass. Sometimes
it's a no look one hander, or a try
to thread the needle. Most of these
young women can't make those
passes, and our inside player
can't catch them.

Also FT's...we were a horrible 3-13.
Not a good night, but the frosh
got some playing time. I feel very
bad for Harris. I thought recently
she was slowing her game down
and playing better.

That was one ugly basketball game. I didn't expect much with Harris out, and then when Green got hurt I expected even less. And they "delivered".

More of the same crappy playing, but was nice to see the freshmen get more minutes. Sandrine Clesca showed promise at PG. Don’t know what we do with Hayford, but she seems to be in over her head - and why is she shooting 3s?

Next season I would expect to see Day, Sandrine, and Jayla at the point.

Hueston and Exanor look like they can be contributors next season.

IMHO, Several players need to work on putting more arc on their shots - including foul shots...

Go Pitt.

I'm glad you mentioned Clesca. I
see her as a player who should be
good as time goes on.
Hayford, as you know I've been
critical of her since last year. I
do think she's athletic and can
contribute on the wing as long
as Harris and Everett or maybe
Green are also on the floor. As
of now she's a liability on the
point, and needs a sense of what
she can and cannot do...Coaching.

The players are an upgrade, but in
this league they're barely the mean.
As we've all said.....They need a
legitimate big. Every other ACC
team seems to have at least one.
