Women's NCAA selection show tonite at 7 on ESPN

The latest bracket projections by ESPN,, College Sports Madness and RealTime RPI still have Pitt being selected for the NCAA tourney.

ESPN - Pitt projected as a 12 seed playing 5 seed Mississippi State

CSM - Pitt projected as a 10 seed playing 7 seed Green Bay.

RT RPI - Pitt projected as a 10 seed playing 7 seed Oklahoma

Would be a nice reward for the team and Coach Suzie and her staff. Would be especially great for Brianna Kiesel...

It is great that the women are in....

and pretty safely in at that, but I don't think the committee did them any favors with giving us Chattanooga in Knoxville. First of all a lot closer venue for them than us. And secondly because Chattanooga is a good team. They beat Tennessee and Stanford. They lost a close one to USF. They did get clobbered by Notre Dame, but so did we. It looks like they are a very good mid-major team.
