Would like to see bowl games pay for insurance policies for players

Sure you did, Bud.

I was exactly right when I said "So what is not close to 0 to you? 10%? So 1 out of every 10 1st Round QBs blow their knee out every game?" It is you that cannot understand such easy concepts but that is no surprise given your disability.

A broken right index finger could be a problem for a year. A broken ankle or elbow too. A badly enough torn shoulder can hurt range of motion. I could imagine any being somewhat bad for draft stock even if not horrible.

Those things maybe, maybe, drop him a couple spots but probably not. And again, the chances of him sustaining that type of injury in 1 of the 50 snaps he takes are almost 0. Really, 30-35 snaps since we will run the ball some.

I don't know if it's practical for this to happen or not. Maybe with NIL, bowl games should pay players for their participation. Set amounts based on bowl tier and no more BS bowl selection process like we see in the ACC. The highest ranked teams get the best bowls.

Why would the bowls do this? Most of the top guys opt out anyway and the big bowls don't see a significant drop off in revenue when that happens anyway. These insurance policies aren't going to incentivize one of these top picks to play in the game, they are more worried about being able to play in the NFL, not whether an insurance policy has their back if they were to play.
