I agree with the coaches call either way. I like the aggressiveness.
Pitt would never have that luck, guarantee an ACC ref would’ve overturned that call (the right call was to stick with whatever the call on the field was.) And going for 2 might not have been the best call, but you can not criticize that call.
Even if Pitt could ever catch a break from the refs or replay, Narduzzi still isn’t making that call. He tried to prove himself early in his career by making gutsy calls like that and it worked. Lately, a lot of playing not to lose.... and a whole lot of losing.
Especially in IU’s situation. First game, you actually have fans there now, at home, playing the #8 team. That is a bold message to the team, and a great way to start the season. You lose, still a lot to build on for the season. That type of underdog, I like being aggressive there too.yeah that’s a call that when it works you’re a genius and when it fails you’re a Dope. I like being agressive like that
sure beats turtliNg before the half like the Neanderthal did today
Underdog - Go for 2I actually didn’t like the call, PSU kicker had already dinked a short one and I thought IU had the better kicker.
Still can’t believe he got in there, was just an incredible individual effort.
