Like a true champion, Bama took advantage of the Clemson mistakes and flipped the game. Without those mistakes (terribly blown coverages, failure to cover the onside kick), Clemson was the winner. Bama's game prep was awesome.

A thing of beauty. I doubt they did that that well in practice. The Clemson alignment was a dead giveaway....and Saban had the requisite onions to go for it.

This play, which turned out to be the play of the game, showed Saban's coaching ability more than any other. He recognizes how Clemson lines up on kickoffs then waits for the right moment. Then springs a perfectly executed play on the Tigers. I've never seen an onside kick like this before.
