WPIAL 4/5 Stars then and now.

I saw in a mess of a thread about Narduzzi and Wannstedt recruiting in the WPIAL and keeping stars at home.

In Pat Narduzzi's tenure, there have been 21 total four or five stars in the WPIAL/City League from the class of 2015 (when he first got here) to 2022 (the current recruiting class)

In that stretch:

7. Pitt: Jordan Whitehead, Damar Hamlin, Kaezon Pugh, Paris Ford, Dayon Hayes, Elliot Donald, Nahki Johnson,
4. Penn State: Miles Sanders, Lamont Wade, CJ Thorpe, Tyreese Fearbry
4. Notre Dame: Joshua Lugg, Phil Jurkovec, Andrew Kristofic, Michael Carmody
2. West Virginia: TJ Banks, Kwantel Raines
1.Michigan: Donovan Jeter
1. Kentucky: MJ Devonshire
1. LSU: Derrick Davis
1. Florida: Donovan McMillon


During Dave Wannstedt's tenure from his initial 2005 recruiting class to the 2011 class when he was let go, there were 34 4 or 5 stars from the WPIAL/City League
10. Pitt: Dorin Dickerson, John Malecki, Aaron Smith, Chris Jacobsen, Jon Baldwin, Lucas Nix, Shayne Hale, Cam Saddler, Todd Thomas, Dan Mason
8. Penn State: Justin King, Stefen Wisniewski, Nick Sukay, Mike Yancich, Miles Dieffenbach, Tommy Ricketts, Paul Jones, Mike Hull,
5. Ohio State: Terrelle Pryor, Andrew Sweat, Corey Brown, Dorian Bell, Jordan Hall
