It is discussed on here a lot and there is no question, at all, that the WPIAL talent pool is not what it used to be over the years. But, there are still some top shelf players from the WPIAL and many of them played a huge roll in the win yesterday. I do think Pitt properly calibrates its recruiting resources to the WPIAL with an increasing focus on Florida and Georgia with an ongoing presence locally. Mathews, Ford, Jackson, Hamlin, Huoy, Coleman (City), Danielson . . . hats off fellas. Love to see the local kids make great memories right down the street.
