Wrestling tiebreaks

anyone see the Canon Mac/waynesburg section championship match the other night? The waynesburg gym was busting at the seams, full House, and their match ended 30-30. After a ten minute wait while officials moved through the criteria, waynesburg earned the win by near fall points (5-3). I believe that’s the 10th tiebreak criteria. Anyone have any stories about a tiebreak that went deeper than that in a championship type match? I’m not a huge wrestling guy but I do enjoy it. That had to be a great night for the Waynesburg community. I think CM had won 18 straight titles. Congrats to the raiders.

Not sure, but waynesburg may have earned the WPIAL #1 seed for the playoffs this week and CM earned the #3?

dale coached couple of my sons at Peters Township, Straight forward no BS coach. Had some nice assistants helping him also. He retired from teaching a few years back and now hunts big game and some hikes like the base camp for Everest.
