Seems as if the Pittsburgh Media is about to run a story on the new Populous Plan with a New Pitt Stadium. Lots of phone calls being made and notes being taken. PSU is renovating its beaver...lolol , Temple wants to build a new on campus stadium and of course, what is good for the eastern part of PA and the Central is definitely good for PITT in Western PA! Just like "pork barrel" funding of the Temple Apollo, Joyce Center at psu and the Pete.

Yep.....glass walls at the gym, where you could look over the stadium & entire campus + dahntahn. Would have been a fabulous idea..... but pretty costly just fixing up the stadium would have been $200 million, and that was untenable...might have been $150 million to add the gym, escalators between the 2, etc. And they'd lose the OC lot parking. Ambitious as hell. Pitt went cheap, built the Pete and caved to the North Side Provos.
