Was Lawrence a true freshman last year? If he was he would have to play 2 years in the XFL. At any rate why would Vince McMahon or anyone for that matter offer Trevor Lawrence 5 million dollars to play in a rinky dink league that offers no chance at recovering that kind of cash plus a profit.

Kneeling for the anthem DOES NOT disrespect the flag. Period. I'd rather see someone kneel in genuine protest of a social issue than see people stand at attention then proceed to walk all over the constitution the rest of the time.
The flag is a symbol. The constitution represents the ideals this country is supposed to stand for.
$23 million is the starting point. You'd have to up that since no one will be watching him on TV for a year either. Maybe $30 million and it'd be worth his while.
Lawrence will make $0 for his last 2 years at Clemson. If Vince offers him $10 million for Spring 2020 and Spring 2021, he'd be an idiot to pass that up
Actually even 600 k for what would be his junior year wouldn't be stupid if he is able to get a insurance policy to cover for a injury. 600k is more than 0 and he will still be the number 1 overall pick in 2021 regardless, only thing that is going to change that is a severe injury or he plays poorly.
