Obviously it’s been talked about on here a bunch with people giving their opinions on which QB they preferred between Fay, Yarnell, or Morehead. Fay was probably their #1 guy until he committed to Michigan State which leaves Yarnell and Morehead. Between the two I think Yarnell is clearly the better prospect and I know many on here feel the same way, and so do the Pitt coaches. In the past 24 hours all of Pitt’s 2021 commits have followed Yarnell on Twitter and Peak even mentioned that Alston told him he’d be working on the “QB from Austin”. It’s obvious that the Pitt coaches let the commits know that Yarnell is their guy and are putting them to work. Morehead doesn’t really have any leverage because I’m not sure he has a clear option beyond Pitt which allows the coaches to push Yarnell to commit with Morehead being the backup plan if shit goes bad. Let’s hope they can close the deal.
