This was a great win for Pitt ,it's players ,fans ,coaches and for recruiting. Even with all the crap associated with PSUs football program their still considered a higher profile program than Pitt . They spent whatever amount of money they needed too in acquiring head coaches that would never have considered coming to Pitt under any circumstances . They still recruit higher rated athletes than Pitt. They generate hugh $$$ from Fb that Pitt could only dream about. But guess what Pitt won the game , no excuses PSU fans Pitt won the game. Thinking this victory won't help in the recruiting wars you'd be wrong . It might not even have anything to do with a kid choosing between Pitt and PSU ,but Pitt and some other Big Ten school this will help . This was an exciting game that showed Pitt can play with some of the big boys ( don't want to carried away just yet ) now they just need to keep improving and build on this victory .
