game 2 of the doubleheader .... Aaron Sandefur on the mound for Pitt.

In the top of the 1st .....

ND got a leadoff single ..... next batter singled up the middle and the runner on 1st was thrown out at 3rd (Schnurbusch to Sherman) with the batter going to 2nd ..... the next batter also single but the runner on 2nd only went to 3rd ...... next batter hit into a 4-6-3 double play and ND did not score in the 1st despite 3 hits !

In the bottom of the 1st .....

Pitt had a single and walk but the inning ended with a double play by ND and Pitt did not score..... 0-0 end of 1st inning.

ND has scored 4 runs in the top of the 2nd and still batting ......

hit batsman, 2 errors by Pitt, 2 stolen bases and 2 doubles by ND, etc. so far in the top of the 2nd.

season starting to fall apart .... need to turn it around starting tomorrow !

Pitt has been clobbered 5 straight ACC games by the tune of 45-to-10. This season is turning sour very quickly (4-10 ACC), with 6 straight ACC losses. We may have a hard time matching last year's 11-19 ACC mark.

Pitt had only 2 hits in game 2 today .... made 3 errors and ....

starting pitching not very good in either game.

Agree, season sees to be falling apart ....... need to win tomorrow and start turning it around.

Today our starting pitching and hitting were poor ..... and in the 2nd game we had 3 errors.

The hitting and fielding have not been great all year but the pitching was very good early and has fallen apart recently.

Not sure if we can get it together and start winning some games or not ..... doesn't look good right now but we'll see.
