The game has changed with NIL. There is really nothing stopping BC or Wake Forrest from overpaying top talent to win a national championship. The ACC will have 13 years to find a new Clemson and FSU.
For a dead man walking, the ACC has assets that will only decrease in value. If the buyout is too much, then FSU at a minimum will shut up.
