He was in the position to win the game in the first OT if he had gone for a two point conversion but instead chose to kick PAT.

Why give the ball back to the leading Heismann Candidate USC QB when you can win on the road in 1st OT. Apparently he also did not know you had to go for a 2 pt conversion starting in 2nD OT. He said he still wouldn’t have gone for two in 1st OT.

Totally agree with both. Arizona had a chance to win and the coach turtled. The pitch on the 2pt in the third OT was asinine - it hadn’t worked all game.

Most are dumb. Even more coach scared. Many are both-Like Nardummy when while trailing by 7 on 4th and goal from the 1 late in the 4th Q of the PSU game, sent the FG unit out.

Only fitting after that that Kessman missed from point blank range.
