The article may say that but I refuse to believe ND only sells 40K season tickets (10K or so are students) and has 40K single game tickets. That cant be right.

Most ND fans have to travel a long way to South Bend to see a game.

They are from all over the country, not close to campus at all.

Check the license plates in the Joyce South parking lot during game day.

So, ND fans pick single games or a couple of games a year to attend.

Single game tickets are the way to do that, not season tickets.

That surprised me in the article and is part of the reason why they had seas of red during games with Georgia and Cincinnati
