OT: Great News!!! Apparently it is happening

“Weighed about 7 full kegs of beer”. Now we know that WPXI gets its interns who write these news posts from WVU.
7 kegs of beer could be also reported as 7 kegs of water. The spec grav difference in weight would be negligible given the weight of the keg. But 7 kegs of water alone weighs 900 pounds. Must be light kegs for seven of them to weigh only 100 pounds.

People measure using systems they're familiar with. Reminds me of the scene in Generation Kill where these Marines are joking and ranging out the enemy using d*** length.

Future headline...

"PITT on campus stadium completed, but meteor weighing 12 kegs destroys it on first day"

The problem with that as a measure of weight is that beer kegs are rarely full in West Virginia. Blink, and the dam things are empty. Right, Huggy?
So, they're full in Pittsburgh? That's actually insulting, the Pittsburgh I came from was always hammered and happy to be that way. Now you're using beer drinking as an insult? That is sad.
