Yup but he did kind of twist off him at the end but it was close for sure It’s such a bullshit rule anywayI like how the stripping motion by Watt took away any chance of being called for full body weight on the QB.

Wow TJ! How do you let him run free like that?!
Felt bad for the QB on that Watt play. Not sure how you forget to block that guy.
Now they're getting stupidly passive with the running play. Cincy knows they're gonna run
It was smart. They wore down the clock and Boswell should put this game out of reach with the FG.Now they're getting stupidly passive with the running play. Cincy knows they're gonna run
Good call on that. Boz pops this, game over. I just wanted to see Kenny get a reward for his good game with a tuddy passI don't hate the idea of making them use their timeouts and going up two scores.
Me neither, if you make the easy FG it probably takes an onside kick recovery to beat you.I don't hate the idea of making them use their timeouts and going up two scores.
I'm just being a selfish fanboy of Kenny...wanting him to get a TD for his good work today. It was smart. They wore down the clock and Boswell should put this game out of reach with the FG.
He had a very good one that the refs didn't give him.Good call on that. Boz pops this, game over. I just wanted to see Kenny get a reward for his good game with a tuddy pass

Yes, but if Dropson just holds on, it's not an issue. Regardless, I get what you're saying. He had a very good one that the refs didn't give him.
I thought his game against Vegas last year really helped him turn somewhat of a corner. He played pretty well against the Rams this year too. It is odd because he has a few games where it seemed like he played better than the stats indicated. This is the first pro game he has had that the numbers look like very solid winning numbers. Is this Kenny's best game as a Steeler?
Even with a recovery don’t think they can run it out unless it goes under 2 minutes
Invested in winningTomlin still is invested in winning 13-10
The mystery now is why up until today, was the middle and Muth not utilized more? Can we blame it on poor game calling by Canada? Tomlin wanting to play it safe?I thought his game against Vegas last year really helped him turn somewhat of a corner. He played pretty well against the Rams this year too. I took a look back at the stats after this question and it amazes me how pedestrian/below average the numbers have been and the game scores. Everything has been a big struggle it looks like.
There is too much coincidence that a guy who is an experience NFL offensive coordinator called the plays today and that the offense did some common things. Leaving today, it looks a lot like Canada was in over his head. It is just a game, so maybe next week that gets disproven and the offense reverts back. But, the small things, throws over the middle to the TE, WR drag routes, pressing the ball down the field ... those things have been largely missing and were all very visible today. The mystery now is why up until today, was the middle and Muth not utilized more? Unsolved Mystery it is.
Muth did miss a bunch of games though. The mystery now is why up until today, was the middle and Muth not utilized more? Can we blame it on poor game calling by Canada? Tomlin wanting to play it safe?

He did. But Mt. Washington was completely invisible over the middle. He coulda been a targeted a few times I think. Regardless I'm happy with today. Now they need to capitalize and put more points on the board.Muth did miss a bunch of games though.
I like Heyward over the middle too. They could have used him more with Muth out.He did. But Mt. Washington was completely invisible over the middle. He coulda been a targeted a few times I think. Regardless I'm happy with today. Now they need to capitalize and put more points on the board.
We brought a nickel blitz , too- forced the TE to make a readFelt bad for the QB on that Watt play. Not sure how you forget to block that guy.
MT has an excellent record in those types of gamesHuge opportunity coming up with home games against 2 teams with a combined 4-18 record.
I'm starting to feel Ben was a real albatross around Tomlin, dragging him down, his ability to score points was really dragging down Mikey's game plan all those years.Tomlin still is invested in winning 13-10
