I mean if you want to argue that it wasn't a 100% inch perfect pass, sure, it was not. But that is a catch that good NFL receiver should make routinely.

Not at all. Dude was fully extended. That's a tough catch in the rain. There was a ton of wiggle room for where it could have been thrown.
And now him slipping almost gave up and easy pick-six. Not a great start for Diontae Johnson.
Guys tend to do that when they get both hands on the ball and it goes right through them.

Yeah, he was actually playing well recently... as opposed to getting by on reputation as he mostly has been the last few years (or at least the bulk of this one).
The replay showed Johnson slipping to the grass as the ball was thrown. Not sure how accurate the throw would’ve been, though; hard to tell where Johnson was headed. Regardless, that was UGLY.

On another play, Others see a perfectly thrown 30 yard ball in and out of the hands of a pro receiver and blame the QB.
Oh yeah, I’m right there with you. I just saw him slip on the route so I assumed he was headed where the ball was. I think we’re on the same page here.
Also a great play by the CB to get a hand on it
But if he throws the ball a little further ahead of Pickens the corner has no chance.
