USF stupidly wasting money on an on-campus stadium

High school recruiting is much like NFL rookie salaries. Increasingly locked in. Our “tier” Is generally going to get the same average annually, the high 2, 3, and occasional low 4. The tier above gets the 4s, the tiers below get the table scraps, the really elite get the highest 4 and 5.

The human factors … the imperfection and bias (a ND offer automatically gets a kid a bump etc) in player ratings, and players who play above or below their expectations (bell curve), will make the diff.

Plus having a coach and staff who are able to identify one average (rated) kid who stands out in some imperceptible way, or will be a better fit at key positions than some other seemingly identical average kid. Duz and staff seem to do fairly well at this.
