No. But what is interesting is that Penn State wanted to join the Big East basketball league in the early 80s but were told no because their basketball program wasnt good enough so the Big East added Pitt. I wonder what would have ultimately happened if Big East basketball added PSU back then and perhaps eventually Pitt.
