BC is bombing L'Ville or at least they are up by a couple of TDs in the 3rd Quarter. It is confusing? At half time, the announcer talked a bit about Pitt beating Cuse.
PN was on McAfee today and he talked about recruiting in this new era of NIL. Seems like they might genuinely have different priorities than the ATMs of the the worldIt’s almost like building a team identity and recruiting players that fit into that culture matters…
Yes, I was there. It was cold and sleeting/raining most of the game. The SMU frat boys were obnoxious to add insult to injury.Who remembers the 1983 Cotton Bowl. SMU beat Pitt 7 to 3, I think. Dickerson was the running back for SMU and Pitt had the ball on about the 2 yard line and was about to score. Then a fumble - turnover.
FYI, it wasnt a rumor. The real crime is, a college kid doing coke in the 80's wasnt that big of a deal.[

Ok..I'll buy that. Had he not had the pro career he had we would not be on that list.
no they shouldnt.I'll but that. Guys like Marshall Goldberg, Joe Schmidt should definitely be on the list and at least the equal of anyone that Peak mentioned.
Maybe the issue is that Chris limited the list to 5.
I would argue that a list of 5 would be perfect for basketball, but football should be a list of 22.
Now, maybe everybody's favorite will be on the list of 22.

Peak probably never really saw Marino perform. Or Dorsett or Fralic. Or Green. Did he even see Rickey Jackson play? He was every bit the equal of Hugh Green.
No, he really wasn't even close.
Yes…. 6 of us will be cheering the panthers onto their 8th victory!1) What exactly are the TV options for this game? If they beat Duke tomorrow - and, while probable, I don't think that's a guarantee despite the pretty generous 11.5 spread - you'd be looking at 7-0 vs 7-1 with two teams ranked in the teens.
2) Will it be a packed house? My understanding is their stadium seats about 32k and they have a difficult time coming close to filling that up (Wake Forest, basically). But you would think they would show up for one between two ranked teams in their first season in the ACC.
3) What will the Pitt turnout be? Despite the fact that no one goes to home games, we turn up pretty respectably on the road. I think there could be 1,000 or so. Anybody going down?
