I don't think this factored into the 5th set thinking. I don't think our back row attack was particularly effective this match. Maybe that explains using the 6-2. Getting Blaire in, I think she is better with the block.I gotta say I hated sticking with the 6-2 at the end of the 5th and still think it was the wrong decision despite winning on the net error. You can’t leave your best players on the bench in crunch time. And Nisa’s lack of foot speed was hurting us badly at times. Yes she had some great moments and I was all for her serving instead of Babcock late in the sets but I would’ve only gone 6-2 for that one rotation and put Fairbanks and Babcock right back in. But hey, it worked, and we won, so can’t complain too much
Well.......Game 1 delivered exactly what MLB (and baseball fans) wanted. And by the way, I just turned the game on in the 10th inning because I was at the volleyball game, so I only saw three, or really two, batters. Ohtani making an out on the great catch by Verdugo falling into the stands, then an intentional walk, and then Freddie Freeman hitting a ball that may not have landed yet.
Yes. I absolutely hate her.Login to view embedded media
Such a fierce competitor, she's been a joy to watch during her Louisville career.
They already have Kranitz as an option at 184 next year too. Starting to accrue some real depth at some of these weightsGreat to get a look at some new guys.
Very impressed with Kade Brown and Anthony Santaniello. Anthony going to quickly rise up the rankings.
Roster shows MacKay at 174. I have a feeling they are getting him ready for 184 next season.
