What is NFL Parity?

Steelers are 4-12-1 against the spread as an away team on Thursday night. Browns are 8-3 as a home team.
there was a stat years ago and it's probably outdated now with thur night football but on national tv games, aka Sun night and Monday night football, when the home team was an underdog they covered over 85% of the time..

It was pretty crazy stat. Again, i saw this years ago, back when sun night was just kind of getting as big as MNF and well before Thur night games.

Always get useful information like this AFTER the fact though, am i right.

OT - PENS ........

Hey.....they had an incredible run. The Maple Leafs haven't won a cup since 1967, haven't even been in the finals. The Canadians who still have like 3 times more cups than anyone, hasn't won one since 1993 and hasn't really been close (fluke Covid 2020 season doesn't count). It's hard. Pens in the last 35 years won 5 Cups. Made the playoffs 80% of the time. Had likely the best player in the world on their roster 85% of the time. Eventually, things flip.
Important context

Frankly relatively true of the Stillers the last 20 years as well

Article How Kyle Louis became the most productive defender in college football

Kyle Louis was always athletic. That was easy to see.

Watch him during his senior year at East Orange High School in New Jersey, and the athleticism is obvious. It was there when he was piling up 118 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, an interception and, in the semifinals of the state playoffs, a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown.

And when Pitt flipped him from Temple in October of that fall, there was never a question about the athleticism he brought to the table.

But athleticism alone isn’t enough to make a player the most productive defender in the country.

To get to that level, it takes more. And “more” is exactly what Louis has given this season.

OT - PENS ........

Yep, that's more than anyone on the Pens and 2 more than Crosby. Seems everything the Pens do now turns into a pile of manure .
Looks like the Sharks robbed us , sending us Karlsson and that ridiculous contract of his. Oh and the Penguins doing what they do best, also sending a 1st.

I'm fine with a #2 seed. Probably the only way Pitt gets the #1 is if they win out and Nebraska loses to PSU, somehow. I don't think it matters too much, otherwise.
Only way that seeding matters is to hopefully end up on the other side of the bracket from Louisville so that it would only be a championship game matchup with them having the home court advantage.
