He has clearly not been playing well the last few weeks but you can’t make a quick decision when your receivers are being covered by the entire second and third level of the defense.SMU just wants it more.
We look like we are sleep walking. We really need Eli to make quick decisions and get the ball out. Maybe run the ball? We really havent tried anything. We are just running vanilla game plans
I really do believe that because of his injury last week, that he has been told to not pull the ball down and run with it unless absolutely needed. This is not the same Pitt offense (or defense for that matter) that we have seen this year.
Game ain't over yet, but...
Thank you, Joe for your opinion.
If and only if Eli doesn't get hit and fumble prior to fourth down."The good news for pitt is they get the ball to start the second half." To run three plays and punt.
I recall a Baylor beat down of MSU several years back in the first half. The most dangerous lead is a large one. We seriously need to move the ball though and I have lost complete faith in Eli. Please prove me wrong
