What's the rule (hypothetical)

The serious answer is that the NCAA gives four choices:

1) Resume the game at a later date
2) End the game at the point of suspension with the score of the game considered final
3) One team agrees to forfeit the game
4) Declare the game a no contest

I would think that the ACC has procedures spelled out for what they have to do if it's a conference game, and resume the game at a later date is surely the preferred option.
According to many here “Tobacco Road” always screws Pitt. But since SMU is new, and further from the Atlantic Coast, I like our chances.

Short Yardage

Just can’t understand why teams continue to line up in the shot gun in fourth and one especially from the goal line

It would seem to me you’d want to practice the middle like the eagles. It’s almost a gauranteed TD.

Tech just did it and had a penalty. They eventually scored but that could have cost them the game
Especially since they had 2 timeouts and clearly could run 4 plays in 30 seconds

Upset - Florida Over Georgia

This is why the “hasn’t beaten a ranked team all year” argument is just dumb.

I’ve seen UF go into Knoxville and take a Top 10 team to overtime after losing their starting QB and starting RB.

They’ve now lost their second string QB while not at home. And they are giving the number 2 team all they can handle.

Miami going into The Swamp and absolutely destroying them is one of the most impressive wins of the season. UF being ranked or not is irrelevant.
