more transfers for next year?

QB1 Jennings has been pretty electric this year…but if he should run into issues, they have a pretty good secondary option:

SMU’s QB2 Preston Stone was their starter last year and put up some good numbers. 206/344 for 3,197 yards, 28 TDs/6 INTs.

I see Barrh getting some more targets this week. Same with Kenny Johnson. H2P

Rumors of his name being thrown in for the open HC position at East Carolina and OC at Oklahoma. I guess this was inevitable with the success the offense is having this year compared with the previous 2-3 seasons. I think we all knew he wouldn't be here long if the offense had a good season.

Was OC at Miami in 2020-2021 and his offenses put up 31 and 38 points. In 2021 it was our only ACC loss and TVD put up 400 yards passing. It was the second most points given up that season (expect the Western Michigan loss) as well. Sample is small but he has had success vs Narduzzi in the past.

Most of us dont know much about SMU other than the Pony Express and the Death Penalty.

Couple interesting notes I've learned

- Some call it "Southern Millionaires University"

- It is not technically in Dallas. The university is in University Park, which is bordered on 3 sides by Dallas and the other side by Highland Park. University Park and Highland Park are 2 extremely affluent communties which is why SMU reminds me a lot of Villanova in many ways.

- In 2019, they disassociated with the United Methodist Church and are wholly owned by their own Board of Trustees. It doesn't even appear that its a religious school at all anymore.

Only 2 ACC teams in the Athletic preseason top 25. I guess the ACC is going to suck again this year. Perception is reality.

Greene county. PA pennsylvania. The woods and immediate bordering territory. Not saying it so you do not think I am crazy. Who seen one? Up to 3 now for me.

Apparently there have been a number of issues with their program over the years but a fight between parents last week moved to board to kick them out.

I cant say I know what's going on but my guess is the issues they've had have largely been parent issues. Parents are a problem everywhere. North Carolina youth soccer had a parent-less weekend a few years back. I've seen or heard of cops coming to youth sports games due to parent altercations in middle class AND upper class communities. For me, the solution should be to ban parents for a game, multiple games, a season, etc. Let the kids play the game with no parents in the stands.

I didnt notice any uniform modifications last week?

I bought four tickets for the Clemson game on StubHub today. Owner transferred the tickets, but StubHub says they won’t be released until the day of the game. Is this something normal for Pitt home games. I have never had to wait for tickets once they were transferred on any secondary ticket market in the past, including StubHub.

I am taking my son who graduated HS last year to the clemson game and then the steelers on Sunday. I have been a lifelong fan, seen so many away games but never been to Pittsburgh. I was thinking of getting an Airbnb and didnt know what area to look in. Can any of you give advice. We will be driving in on Friday afternoon. If I stay 30 minutes outside is it tough to get around? Places are much cheaper and its going to be an expensive trip. Found 1 in bloomfield which looks about 25 minutes from the stadium and 1 in point breeze north about 30 minutes from the stadium.
Also, looking for some lower level tickets and the prices are pretty sky high on seatgeek right now. Anyone got 2 extras they are looking to unload in the lower level on the sidelines?
