Pittsburgh officials: South Side parking ticketing stopping early due to safety
Officials said it has gotten too dangerous on the South Side to enforce parking rules at night, especially in vacant parking lots.
Finally a smart decision. No ticketing past 6PM in the South Side.....but out of fear for the parking enforcement officers' safety.
Regardless of the reason, its an incredible waste of resources to be ticketing drunk people at 2AM in the South Side. There's nowhere to park. Make your own spot and move on. Crazy that a kid lost a whole season of eligibility over this.
