He is an absolute weapon. A guy like that is an insane advantage in college. Will most likely get drafted and will absolutely be a starting NFL kicker in the very near future. Legitimately one of the top 5 players on the team and probably isn’t 5.

NIL has absolutely changed the landscape of College Football and of course all sports college related. The teams with the largest bank of money obviously have a large advantage and i doubt Pitt every gets into the top 50-75 based on our current situation. We will always need a larger pool of money but what i see coming down the line is the biggest spenders are going to waste much money with kids leaving thier programs because they actually want to play and compete. I am not saying we don't need more money but we need a process within the athletic department that can find those players and get them here at a discounted price. Down the line the big spenders will get wiser with the spending and we can somehow get 4 and possibly 5 stars that will take less to actually play.

Holstein was 11-15 for 105 and 2 scores. Umm, not bad considering Cuse- had the ball for almost 42 minutes. That's what happens when the defense scores so much.

Eli Holstein had a 2nd poor game. Pitt's defense played even better this week. Held cuse to only 6 yards rushing and had 5 picks.

If we can put both good offense and good defense together this team will be really really good.

Maybe time to give Yarnell a little playing time. Couldn’t hurt

The corners were a point of concern coming into the year but they played great tonight and have played really well since the Cincinnati game. They haven’t made any game breaking interceptions or anything like that. They’ve been good against the deep ball without committing PI and 15 especially has been good in space against the run and has tackled well. Overall a big bright spot from a position we were all unsure of.

First off…..I didn’t think I’d ever see Pitt make it to November undefeated. I had been conditioned to believe they’d always crap a game away.

Second. Pitt’s defense improving through the year has always been a Narduzzi staple. This might be his best job yet. We’ve criticized his linebackers often, but holy hell how good are they?

Third. This is the moving to the dream part. You win next week you should be top ten. We might not be but should.
