New Dean of Pittlaw. Really cool story at the beginning. Cant speak on his credentials...

Legit NIL Strategy?

What if we made the concept of pay for play work both ways?

We should reserve about 25 roster spots for, well, complete scrubs: sons of doctors, lawyers, investment bankers, etc. who would otherwise never sniff Division 1 college athletics.

In exchange, their families have to contribute toward our NIL program. Basically, the Aunt Becky from Full House system.

We could even bake quotas into these agreements. Sure, Little Bobby can play at least 50 snaps at receiver this season. But it's going to cost you $200K. Yeah, Tiny Jimmy might only be 165 pounds soaking wet. But I bet he'd like get a couple carries behind the left tackle you can buy for us.

Then Bobby graduates, hopefully with his body mostly still in tact, and Dr. Rob feels a sense of loyalty to Pitt - his son's alma mater - and he keeps on contributing $20K/year. Basically, whore out playing time as currency so that we can acquire actual monetary currency. Pittstitution, if you will.

NFL Owner Smear Campaigns on ESPN

Why are they so obsessed with this? The Jets owner is all they've been talking about, and it's such petty stuff. A game ball and a Madden rating is the best they've got?! Who is directing this?

They've obviously done this to other owners, and it culminated in them having to sell their teams, but at least those involved some misconduct. This just seems straight evil.

Also a little sick of how much they rag on Jerry Jones, including the southern accents. This network becomes more racist by the day.

OT - former Colorado coach, Bill McCartney, passed away

His Colorado teams were fun to watch for a six-year period from 1989-94, especially the 1989 squad that burst onto the scene that fall.

The 30 for 30 on McCartney was also done well. I remember he wrote a piece for Steelers Digest in 1994 saying how he was becoming a Steelers fan due to several of his ex-players being on the team.
