Had this go-round with a lot of people here. This quote offensive Guru quote tag was nothing more than the usual back slapping, positive spin the media develop for a long-standing coach. He was never an offensive Guru. There just was nothing about his coaching that stood out, people took the Vanderbilt situation, A nondescript job, he managed to win enough games to keep the position for nearly two decades, and people just threw out he's an offensive Guru and that was that.
